Special Council Meeting

October 25, 2016

The Council of the Village of Riverlea met on the above date at 250 W Riverglen Dr., Worthington.. The following Council members were present: Mayor Eric A. MacGilvray, Marc Benevento, Scott K. Gordon, Chad Lowe, Kathy McClintock, and Josh Schoenberger. Also present was L. Leah Reibel, Solicitor. At 7:00 pm the Mayor called the meeting to order.

Resolution 2016-13

Resolution 2016-13, A Resolution to Provide Legal Counsel to the Village of Riverlea was introduced by Gordon. Gordon moved and McClintock seconded the motion to waive the three readings of this resolution in order to have the new contract in place upon the expiration of the old one. This motion was approved (4-0). Gordon moved and McClintock seconded the motion to approve this resolution.
This motion was approved (4-0).

Ordinance 03-2016

An Ordinance to Approve a Modification and Realignment of Ordinance 11-2015, The Annual Appropriation Ordinance (Village), and to Declare an Emergency was introduced by Gordon. Gordon moved and Schoenberger seconded the motion to waive the three readings of this resolution in order to pay the Village’s bills on a timely basis. This motion was approved (4-0). Lowe moved and Schoenberger seconded the motion to approve this resolution.
This motion was approved (4-0).

Ordinance 04-2016

Ordinance 04-2016, the 2017 Annual Appropriation Ordinance (Viillage) was introduced by Gordon and had its first reading.

The next regular meeting will be Monday, November 21 at 7:00 pm at the Thomas Worthington High School.

Adjournment

There being no further business, Slemmer moved and Benevento seconded the motion to adjourn. The motion was approved unanimously (4-0). The meeting was adjourned at 7:14 pm.
